Will I be charged for an estimate?
No, we will work closely together with you and your insurance adjuster, if applicable, and perform a free site visit and written estimate.

Do I need a set of plans before scheduling the site visit?
Although it would be helpful to have your visualization on paper, it is not mandatory. Our experienced staff will be happy to meet with you and give you ideas on design and color that would fit into your lifestyle and home design as well as your neighborhood.

Would I be responsible for getting the building
Twin City Homeworks, LLC recommends we pick up the permits because the person or company that picks up the permit is responsible for code compliance of the work done.  Also, if the city inspector has any questions or concerns regarding the project, the contractors, are typically the best qualified to address those concerns.

Am I able to hire you for some and not all the work required?
Absolutely! Frequently our clients take on some of the smaller projects themselves. We will need to work closely with you to ensure that our contractors are able to perform their work without interruption due to having multiple projects running simultaneously.

What if I decide to add additional work or request changes to my contract after signing?
This is not a problem. We will ask you to sign a change order detailing the changes you want. Please remember that making changes to the original work order may alter the scheduled completion time.

Who is responsible for clean up after my work is complete?
Our contractors not only do an amazing job in their trade work, but they also ensure that all materials are removed and that we leave the site cleaned up after the work is completed. We take great pride in our labor and have received feedback from many of our former clients on the outstanding work and site cleanup done.

How does your payment schedule work?
We typically ask for 50% at the time the contract is signed with the remainder due upon project completion after your insurance company is invoiced, if applicable, and your payment has been received.  We will work closely with you and your insurance company in order to expedite their payments to you. There will be no surprises to you as we will explain all expenses and the billing cycle to you after working with your insurance company on the estimates and when we have you sign your contract with us. Note: Most Insurance Companies attach your Mortgage Company on their checks, so their endorsement is needed before reimbursing for work completed. Twin City Homeworks, LLC will work with you to get this step completed to ease the process for you!

What happens after you complete your work and issues come up?
Give us a call! We have been in business for over 30 years and have always taken pride in standing by our work. We will do everything in our power to make sure you are delighted with our finished product.

I am overwhelmed by the paperwork needed to file a claim. Can someone help me through it?
We will walk you through the process every step of the claim. We will set up an appointment to meet with your adjuster to review any damages. We will then work with your insurance company to ensure you get your property damage covered so we can repair or replace the damaged material. We will take care of invoicing your insurance company for you and work with your Mortgage Company, if necessary, so they release the funds upon project completion. We will also work with your City Courthouse to file necessary plans and permits and ensure the final inspection is done timely. We will also stay in close contact with you during the entire process to update you on the work and ensure the project stays on course.
